How to apply

The Birches Academy of Academics & Art is a public school for grades K-8, with 25 students per grade level.  We hold a lottery each spring for our Kindergarten class; the lottery application process opens in October, with spots being selected in January/February. The lottery for 2026-27 is now open until January 26, 2026.

All other grades operate on a waitlist. Applications for the wait list can be submitted at any time.

All families wishing to enroll at The Birches Academy must attend an information session/tour before their students begin (you do not need to tour before applying). Look here for dates for upcoming tours, or private sessions can be arranged for those considering an open spot by contacting information@birchesacademy.org
